As an RIA, you have chosen to always act in your clients’ best interests. We share your belief. That’s why we’re dedicated to standing up for the fiduciary model. We believe it’s the right thing to do for advisors and investors.

We’re more than a custodian.

We've made it our mission to do everything we can to stand up for the RIA channel. We believe the fiduciary standard provides a level of transparency and objectivity that helps ensure advisors and their clients have the same financial goals in mind. We're more than your custodian. We're your Advocate.

How we support the fiduciary standard.

We act as a public voice for RIAs, advocating on their behalf on measures that support investors' best interests. In fact, we have a dedicated office of Advisor Advocacy and Industry Affairs that was established to:

  1. Serve as your united voice.

    It all starts by listening to the needs of RIAs so that we can accurately represent your interests to policymakers. We actively engage with industry groups and policymakers on ways to protect investors and advocate for the RIA model by submitting formal comment letters, and encouraging discussions on the distinction between the fiduciary standard and the suitability standard.

    We develop tools you can use to voice your opinion to regulators and legislators - as your own best advocate. We also give you access to advertising and prospecting tools that help you market your fiduciary advantage and educate your clients on the difference between independent RIAs and registered reps so that they understand the value of working with an advisor who's obligated to put their clients' best interests first.
