George Tamer - Managing Director, Strategic Relationships, TD Ameritrade Institutional

George Tamer oversees a team that works to help independent advisors achieve their business goals by helping them implement industry best practices including marketing and business development, workflow processes, and technology usage.

Tamer joined the company in 1996, where he has held various management positions in online product development and client service. He and his team have worked with many advisors to help improve productivity and become more efficient through the use of TD Ameritrade's technology platform.

He graduated with a B.A. in political science from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. and holds an M.B.A. in marketing from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business.  George is currently completing the Securities Industry Institute program, sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, at the Wharton School of Business.


Kristin Petrick - Director, Institutional Marketing and Communications, TD Ameritrade Institutional

Kristin Petrick is responsible for marketing and public relations for TD Ameritrade, the company's business unit supporting more than 5,000 independent registered investment advisors.

In 2017, Petrick was tapped to lead key Institutional Marketing & Communications efforts, including advertising, creative services and media relations with an emphasis on enhancing brand awareness and developing content to shape advisors’ impressions of the company.

Petrick joined TD Ameritrade's Communications and Public Affairs team in 2009, serving as a company spokesperson and managing media relations programs to promote TD Ameritrade products, services and executive leadership.

Petrick has more than a decade of experience leading public relations and marketing efforts for non-profits, start-ups and large corporations. Prior to joining TD Ameritrade, Petrick served as Director of Public Relations for Ervin & Smith, an advertising and public relations agency. She is a former journalist with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Creighton University.


Katrina Kent - Director, Corporate Events, TD Ameritrade

Katrina Kent leads the design and implementation of conferences, meetings, and events at TD Ameritrade. She and her team are responsible for producing powerful, strategic events of all shapes and sizes, for both the Institutional and Retail businesses, as well as key internal event programs for the firm.  Helping independent-minded investors and independent registered investment advisors succeed, Kent’s team is dedicated to delivering inspired, meaningful, best-in-class events.

Prior to joining TD Ameritrade in 2005, Kent served as an event marketer and planner for Royal Alliance Associates. Kent received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from The University of North Carolina and is a co-founder of Sonnet Repertory Theatre, Inc., a New York City-based, not-for-profit theater company.
